Help with cracking a password to a PDF - godcronos - 02-16-2020 Hello forum, I am trying to figure out how to use hashcat with md5_mixalpha-numeric#1-9_32 archive. There are all in separate files of 512 MB. How can I run hashcat with these rainbow tables against an MD5 32 characters password? Please help, I've been trying for days. RE: Help with cracking a password to a PDF - undeath - 02-16-2020 hashcat does not use rainbow tables. And besides, I have no idea how your md5 is related to the pdf mentioned in the thread title. RE: Help with cracking a password to a PDF - godcronos - 02-16-2020 thank you for replying. I ended up using a different program for the hashtables such as rainbowcrack. I was stubborn about using hashcat with the .rti(s) that I have, but gave up. About the PDF, it's more of a game. 5 PDFs have been individually passworded with an MD5 hash. I got the hash for the first PDF and a hint of what the password format would be. Trying to crack the first hash. |
