Hashcat on Windows 8 vs The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) - Eiplanner - 08-31-2020 I am currently running hashcat in my Windows 8 environment, inside the command prompt terminal. Is there any downsides or speed compromises I will be giving up by not running hashcat from The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) instead of Windows? I am working on a 7z file crack and am pretty sure I need the OpenCL maximized. RE: Hashcat on Windows 8 vs The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali)) - slyexe - 09-01-2020 OpenCL is better developed in windows so working with that would be the best case scenario. The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) as autocorrected by the hashcat team says exactly the opposite. |
