OS Linux Mint 20.1
GPU RX 570

I have installed the latest ROCm drivers for my GPU and when I do the hashcat -I command this is what it displays...

Code:
root@rob-System-Product-Name:/home/rob# hashcat -I

hashcat (v5.1.0) starting...

However, when I attempt to crack some simple md5 hashes. It doesn't use my GPU. the output is below

I have tried to uninstall POCL but everytime I do that it automatically uninstalls hashcat?

Help would be very much appreciated.

RE: Hashcat won't use my GPU.. - Snoopy - 02-19-2021

first: -> never use --force
second:
hashcat (v5.1.0) starting...

this is an older version, try downloading, compiling and using the gitversion (v6.1.1***)

third:
amd on linux seems littel bit tricky, see this thread

You need to remove POCL first then install the proper drivers.

I think I am having a similar issue. It seems to see my AMD Threadripper but not the GPU's. Both are slotted in PCIE 3 slots ( At least I am fairly certain they are). Any ideas?

Ubuntu 20.04 (fresh minimal install)
(2) RX 580's
Threadripper 1950X
amdgpu 21.2.6 (open source)
ROCm 5.4.1.50401-84~20.04
hashcat v6.2.6
