Hashcat Benchmarks above 1 GH/s wrong - diseric - 03-29-2021

It appears to me that the any hash rates that are over 1 GH/s are showing as 100 GH/s in the benchmark..

I may be missing something but, I ran a benchmark on NTLM on a 2080TI and compared to 2 user posted benchmarks for the 3080 and their NTLM hash rates were over 100 GH/s and mine are 90000 MH/s.

Am I missing something or is the 3080 just that much better for specifically NTLM hashes?

That would be 100x better.. but only in that hashtype.

I am trying to do an analysis on what cards we should upgrade to.

100GH/s is 100000 MH/s
90000MH/s is 90GH/s

You are only down 10GH/s
