| Just noticed the similar title on another thread. To clarify, this isn't a question about CPU speed, it's just a question of if a single CPU will work to address 8 cards in a Tyan FT77AB7059. |

| Currently considering a Tyan FT77AB7059, but I'm curious if I would need to populate both sockets, or if it would just address fewer lanes per card when using a single CPU. Anyone care to help me out? |
