| Read and write was successful on a 7+GB ldmp.
Created a new database from scratch and wrote 4+GB to it.
Test from my POV was successful.

But this thread on MSDN suggests that on Windows fwrite cannot write out ... |

| Running the brain-server on Ubuntu 18.04, hashcat beta 1807 there is no failure when the ldmp file passes the 4GB mark, so it appears to be a windows-only issue.

| Finally got done testing on 5.1.0, and exactly the same thing happens. Only the part above 4GB is written to file. |

| I occasionally have had similar issues.
My work around was to set --gpu-temp-disable on hashcat and let Afterburner handle the fan control. |

| I have not, per say. The trick I use with loading youtu.be et.al. is really to regain lost performance, due to whatever causes the issue. |
