You should probably start by using a version of hashcat that isnt 4 years old. After you update to a more recent version of hashcat and retest, make sure that whatever command you are running doesn't ...

I have since then spoken with someone that has many 3080Tis in a large system running hashcat without noticeable issues. Including multi day attacks. It's pretty safe to say that the hash rate limiter...

The code you are looking at is the code for applying rules on the GPU. The rule you have selected, extract_memory, is only available on the host/CPU side, and is marked as being only available in hash...

Post: RE: Collider (9810) support for oldoffice$4?

$4 hashes should not be accepted by the collider mode because they use a different key length and are therefore not vulnerable to the collision attack. I will take a look and see if this was a bug int...

Also we have benchmarks for other LHR cards like the 3080Ti that doesn't show any problems. See here: https://gist.github.com/roycewilliams/a005bb9a29e423dade9b47060e05594b

We haven't seen any indication of LHR affecting hashcat speeds. So far it looks like if it doesnt effect anything, it will be only specific modes or attacks, but we've not yet seen that happen.

Post: RE: Bruteforce mode doesn't find the password

You didn't specify a mask in your command so hashcat used the default built in mask, which does not cover your password. You will need to specify a mask which contains your passwords in its keyspace f...
