It's not 50-60% faster in most of the tests on that page. Based on the Phoronix benchmarks, it's only ~15% faster. |

You have --force enabled and should read the warning present.
Ignoring that for a second, you have 6x 3090 but almost no system RAM. You should have 144gb of system RAM to account for the possible ... |

Hashcat accomplishes this by running ingested hashes through each of our module parsers one at a time and reviewing the output for proper tokenization/parsing. It will give you all possibilities for h... |

Sounds like your dictionary is relatively small and/or your host is having trouble streaming it to the GPU sufficiently. The speed bump is likely because there's a period where the GPU is left without... |

Thread: generating actual hashes to stdout
Post: RE: generating actual hashes to stdout
Hashcat can't do this for a handful of reasons but mainly, it'd be very very slow and would take a lot of resources for a GPU to do this. Your best bet is to copy the algorithm to a script or utility ... |

Thread: NVIDIA A100-PCIE-40GB brings only 120kH/s
Post: RE: NVIDIA A100-PCIE-40GB brings only 120kH/s
Bitcoin/Litecoin hashes have variable difficulty and thus varying speeds. Your benchmark of ~14kh/s per A100 is pretty much exactly on target for what I would expect. The speeds you are seeing in the ... |

The reason it doesn't allow use of the potfile now is that the potfile is NOT an outfile. It's a file that hashcat uses to remove previously cracked hashes from it's current run. We currently can't su... |
