You can also just go grab the cracked versions of the pwned password list, there are plenty around :)

This is a common misunderstanding about how hashcat works under the hood and how work is created/separated. Certain orientations of work lead to difficult or poor division of work, meaning that its ve...

We have not seen any indication of LHR affecting speed in hashcat. Many people are running LHR cards with hashcat and none have reported issues that were confirmed to be LHR related. So far, looks lik...

Hashcat does not have the ability to remove the duplicate hashes, the user must do so themselves.

That is correct. In fact, that's a little faster than i would have expected. Bcrypt is built to be extremely difficult to crack and it does a really god job of it. There's nothing you can do to make i...

Your rule doesn't make any sense. Written out with verbosity, the rule does the following: %1s = "Reject plains which contain char "s" less than "1" time" This doesn't make sense because it's...

Yeah, i think the issue here is being confused. The correct key does indeed crack the example. The core problem here is that not all valid collisions are produced consistently during the mask attack. ...

There does appear to be some funkyness with cracks in 14000. The plaintext does still appear to work, but it doesn't consistently appear when running masks in some orders. I will open an issue on the ...

Don't use the Windows 10 Task manager to view GPU usage. It's looking specifically for 3D workloads, a type of work which hashcat obviously is not. If you want to see the utilization, use a tool like ...

Given that you have 6x 3090, I'm guessing these cards are on x1 risers? If so, that could definitely be leading to a degradation in average speeds over time as they cause significant bottlenecking and...

Your command is incorrect. You should be using -a 0, not -a 3. This may not fix the issue fully but I suspect it is playing a major part.

What version of hashcat are you running? There was a bug fixed between 6.2.4 and 6.2.5 that present similar speed issues. Upgrading the latest may fix your problem.
