Thread: Nvidia 3080 Ti Benchmark
Post: RE: Nvidia 3080 Ti Benchmark
I'm sorry but I saw that tweet and would still ask question about LHR and more details about the tests to verify.
If I remember correctly NVIDIA said that the limit take effect after they see a spe... |

After the first 6 bytes there is a short with the version of LUKS. Here it is version 2. As far as I know there is still no gpu worker for LUKS2 and it is not supported by hashcat, That's why it's tel... |

Thread: Dedicated rig for.cracking trueceypt container
Post: RE: Dedicated rig for.cracking trueceypt container
I do not know if I can help a lot, just a "few" words.
AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT is currently not released. The launch is planed for Nov. 18. Thus the performance (especially with hashcat) is unknown. ... |

Thread: Nvidia 3080 benchmarks
Post: RE: Nvidia 3080 benchmarks
The number of CUDA cores is a little bit more complicated. NVIDIA did a little trick by Ampere. Using Turin you have 1xINT32 and 1xFP32, RTX 2080 TI has in total 4352 INT32 cores and 4352 FP32 cores. ... |

Post: tutorial/documentation about adding modules
Is there any documentation or even a tutorial about adding hashes/modules to hashcat? Is there something that explains what is necessary to do, what is optional, what are constants to define, what con... |

There is no relation.
I just referred to the "fixed number of two bytes" which is not "more bytes 2+" for me. I often see people, even trainer, proclaim that UTF-16 has exactly two bytes per elemen... |

Thread: VeraCrypt with PIM/keyfile seems to be ignored
Post: RE: VeraCrypt with PIM/keyfile seems to be ignored
On the example page I could only found one single example with PIM -- a system partition. I testes 137*3 "hash-type"s but could not find with PIM 500 and mask "hashca?l".
Next I tested the beta versi... |

Post: RE: VeraCrypt with PIM/keyfile seems to be ignored
Thank you for the replays.
I used PIM 2000 and 1337.
Now I created two additional partition, one with PIM 500 and one with a single keyfile. With the same procedure as last time I checked all six ... |

Post: VeraCrypt with PIM/keyfile seems to be ignored
I probably do a stupid mistake but I could not find out which one it is. The problem: hashcat only find the password on partition/volume with nothing else (pim/key file).

Thread: hashcat deletes restore on CL_OUT_OF_RESOURCES
Post: hashcat deletes restore on CL_OUT_OF_RESOURCES
From time to time I get CL_OUT_OF_RESOURCES (on Windows). If this occurs then hashcat deletes the restore file and exits. Thus I am not able to recover from a time (shortly) before the error occurs.
