Post: RE: Can't find dics folder

You shouldn't have to give it *.dic, just give it the directory and it will run through everything in it

Post: RE: Output Bug Report

Just checking to see if anyone has had a chance to reproduce this? Currently my workaround is to just send the -plus cracked hash to -lite if it's found, with the proper mask and re-crack :P

A bug has come to my attention during my recent testing. It is limited to -plus and seems to work fine on -lite (haven't tested CPU). Basically, when using a hex charset and including x00, the plai...

I think all undeath is saying is that there are plenty of other better solutions to your problem on the market in other crypto systems. A very important aspect of security is to not roll your own cryp...

Win7 overtook XP sometime last year, but XP is still a heavy second place. Unfortunately support will soon be dying out (and already is for third party products) so moving away from it when possible i...

I've had mixed results with 12.3 using amd cards and .07 plus, some boxes work fine, some don't and have to be reverted to an old driver. Haven't been able to nail down a consistent pattern though.

If you see a hash show up many times in a dump, it's almost always (in my experience) going to be a rather weak password, and usually something that breaks with an initial quick brute sweep. IMO, for ...
