Hi scandium just another request, could you please add the --username switch to Hashcat GUI? It would help with lists compiled with format user:hash, user:hash:salt and such? Thank you! |

Actually I think the best way is to add support for presents in GUI, not in hashcat. Thats something that scandium might add if you ask him. Or you add it yourse... |

AHHH, I think we might have a misunderstanding. I use Hashcat GUI to crack and I'm referring to when we close the gui and when we open it up again the settings are saved. |

Not too sure where you mean, hashcat won't even input (or output), user:hash formats nor is there an option to output user:pass. Maybe I'm not getting what you mean? |

Yeah, I use JTR for all my des(unix) hashes but nearly all hash types I've tried with hashcat are [much] faster than most other programs, I thought it would be great if hashcat could add it, ergo crac... |

Yes it's definitely for laziness but when I'm dealing with large dbs + other specific programs, this becomes a hassle. It would be a nice addition. |

Why isn't this a good idea? I don't mean just the session, i mean everything such as wordlist(s) loaded, last hashlist one was trying to crack etc. |
