A MySQL 5 database can use the old password if specified
Old (aka 323) looks like this :
5d2e19393cc5ef67 (length 16 hex)
While newer hashes look like this :
*2470C0C06DEE42FD1618BB99005ADCA2EC9D1E19 (length 40 hex, it usually has a '*' in front of it)
