You'll need ROCM. Only a few distributions are official supported by ROCM.

You may have noticed that the forum bot changed K A L I to "The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well".
Is there anyway The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) can work? Like I am willing to work on it but can't even get a shell or a login. Have tried the edit mode in grub but not sure where to go from there. AM wondering how did that guy on here post bench marks for Hashcat with the 6900 xt if no love with linux distros? Like understand it not working but i cant even get it to boot lol. Would choosing the different server during install help? I am wondering also why the first graphical interface install worked fine but others didnt
