Virtual OpenCL (VCL) support
http://www.mosix.org/txt_vcl.html

Jeremi Gosney (epixoip) is looking into this stuff. Distributed cracking in some sort of master/slave scenario is one approach, but with VCL support a single machine running lite/plus will just see N available OpenCL GPUs in one OS, while VCL actually distributes the load over network to N systems with <=8 (or something) physical GPU cards.

For password cracking I haven't made up my mind yet on what would eventually be the most effective way to do it (distributed through server/slave or VCL). It just sounds really cool to utilize a cluster like that.

RE: Virtual OpenCL (VCL) support
This sounds interessting, but it looks like its linux only or am I wrong? In this case, native network support would be better.
