		I would really like to see sha512crypt added... its the new default in ubuntu 11.10:
cracker:$6$m4XXTXXE$gXX4XXecXXawPXXirnXXXXgDX3xXX1OXXTXX0Y4XXxDgXXxaJUXXX2rXXBvFtXXxKU5pXXV802XXXLfXXXtXV.:15321:0:99999:7:::
as well as the hash used in OSX 10.7.x
Did SDK 2.5 resolve any issues making 512 kernels a pain?

		I'd also like to see support for this (mainly because of Ubuntu)

		1. i had to split this thread, because you requesting sha512crypt which is completly different to raw sha512.
2. you did not mask the hash, i did it for you because i was nice today, usually you would get banned for this.

what? osx using raw sha512 not sha512crypt. sha512crypt is like 16000 times slower.

dunno, never tried sha512 on gpu.
PS: hashcat supports both sha512 and sha512crypt
