Good afternoon,
I updated my graphic card driver yesterday as well as did an apt update/upgrade on my The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) (I use Windows Linux Subsystem).
Now, when I want to use hashcat in anyway with the command line, I get a Segmentation fault error. When I want to launch the GUI, I can't launch it.
Would anyone know a fix ?

Thanks in advance !
Which hashcat are you running, and from where? Are you using the hashcat Windows binary, or running hashcat directly under The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali), or running it under WSL, or ...?
From what the console says, I'm running the version 6.1.1.
I have a The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) distribution installed with WSL and I run hashcat directly through it.
This is a pretty complex setup - that is likely to be difficult to troubleshoot, and the segfault is very likely to be due to an issue outside of hashcat entirely (such as within K a l i).

You are far better off simply running the Windows hashcat binary.
Thank you ! I'll use that then ! Have a nice day !
