hashcat Forum

Hello i've managed to get the file for my wallet from blockchain.com and extract the hash.

When im trying to run hashcat using -m 12700 hash.txt it will give me an error hashfile from xx.txt ( token) token encoding exception.

I did see past posts about the hash being very long and needing to turncate it. But i dont know how to do this. If anyone would be able to help me out on this.

Yes it did this. It looks the same does it need to have the same lenght ?

Mine is way longer in lenght.

Not needed anymore. Cracked the password

You must first obtain the relevant hashes and then try to break them and crack them.
