ATTENTION! HIP kernel self-test failed Win 10 - TyrranicalOtter - 12-27-2022
After too many hours trying to get hashcat 6.2.6 running on Ubuntu I switched to Windows. Funny this is that is the same error I was getting Linux. Does anyone know how to fix this?
ATTENTION! HIP kernel self-test failed.
Did a Google search and can't find the same error. Tried the https://hashcat.net/faq/wrongdriver tute with no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

HIP is broken, ironically since it stands for "Heterogeneous Interface for Portability" where as it literally doesn't work for several computing software suites. Just install the OpenCL drivers and you will have to manually select your device.
