Resume/save function for hashcat - richardsguy - 05-17-2010

A dream feature would be able to resume/pause the program. Turn off the pc for some time and resume it again the next day from the same position. Something that stores the current location of the search.

Thanks, this would be a timesaver

Is this already available in the hashcat gui ? If so could you elaborate on how to use it? Thanks

Yes it is : Settings > Show ressources related settings
And now you can put the number of words to skip next to "Skip"
