why so? may be the program dont support bothmodels on same system?

System dont see your 7970, FYI, use this http://www2.ati.com/drivers/hotfix/radeo...in7_64.exe since 12.1 dont support series 7, need use RC11 revison.

The problem with hd7970 is that you need the "8.921.2 RC11" version (based on catalyst 11.12) while all other cards need catalyst 12.1. Means you can not have both types in the same system as long AMD does not release a driver that works with all card types at once.
