Post: RE: Any huge rulesets?

It might not be wise to just find a 'huge' rule set but there is a 'rules' folder within the hashcat folder where you can find multiple rules. Also, the forum user contributions have some interesting ...

Post: RE: 0/1 hashes recovered errorr

Hello and welcome to the Hashcat forum! If hashcat is not throwing any errors then this basically mean you did not find the password yet, I think. You can either try different word lists/rules or d...

Aha! Thanks Jeremi this makes perfect sense! Although now I feel a bit stupid realizing that I should've done more reading about the algorithm before jumping to cracking.

Post: RE: Why would the list run only on Linux?

You are right and the md5sum was not identical. However, now the md5sum is identical and the word count before the cracking process is the same, but the problem persists. So here is what is happening:...

Post: RE: Why would the list run only on Linux?

Post: RE: Why would the list run only on Linux?

That could be, but I have already cracked +40% of the hashes using wordlists from the Internet so why would the problem appear only now? Note: the list (txt file) looks fine when I open it with windo...
