Thanks for your kind hint, Rolf! I'll give it a shot. But due to the fact that Hashcat seems the most promising program for cracking hashes to me, I'd still love to see this implemented. Also, I just discovered that atom previously kinda promised to implement the DES algorithm in THIS POLL. I wonder what prevented this intention. To everyone reading this: Would you like to see support for DES added? Share your opinion!
