And it does mention: "...Problem is that in theory even by iterating through 2^40 combinations it's not guaranteed to find at least one matching one. But I believe there's still a good chance as it's only the first 5 byte we need to collide..."
So collider mode MIGHT not work 100% of the time if I am reading this correctly. Still, it's quick to try, so why do it the hard way if you don't have to.
