you could also test with multiple devices, like this:

hashcat -b -m 100 -d 1,2,3,4


hashcat -b -m 100 -d 1,2,3,4,5



hashcat -b -m 100 -d 1,2,3,4,5,6

and see how many devices work and when exactly it starts failing....


in theory it could be anything, from power issues to driver issues etc... the most unlikely thing is probably a hashcat bug in this particular situation (but also not impossible)

I would tend to a hardware or driver problem...
