Custom restore points
#3
@Snoopy  Thanks for the response .
I did try with the [c]  - But it never stops at a checkpoint - indefinitely waits for a checkpoint and continues to run.
It happens when there are no restore points - like the case posted above .

Code:
Progress.........: 1269994620940/67047134308813 (1.89%)
Rejected.........: 2160068620/1269994620940 (0.17%)
Restore.Point....: 983899/63941069 (1.54%)
Restore.Sub.#1...: Salt:241131 Amplifier:0-1 Iteration:0-1
Candidates.#1....: 0874058840 -> 170991Z

( But on occasions where there are restore points , eg : like the one above , The [c] works . ( Since I know that restore points are created )

2) yes. I do use the same command . But since there is no valid check points / restore points , the session, when trying to "restore", starts from the very beginning.

Hence was wondering if I could try using a custom restore point - maybe on a percentage completion level or something like that ?
