AMD APU crash hashcat v6.2.x benchmark -m[22000 | 2500) and pass for -m[16800 | etc ]
#1
Hello friends!
I will describe what I had to encounter when moving from a completely working version 6.1.1 (I currently stay on it) -> 6.2.X.
----------
Hardware:
- AMD Ryzen 5 2400G [YD2400C5FBBOX]
- ASROCK FATAL1TY X370 GAMING -ITX_AC
- Kingston Hyperx Predator 3333MHz 2x8GB [HX433C16PB3K2-16]
- SSD Samsung 850 Pro 512GB SATA3 [MZ-7KE512BW]
-------
SOWTWARE:
- Windows 10 1709 X64 (not an option will be updated to the new version due to old work programs and their settings)
-Win10-Radeon-Software-adrenalin-2020-Edition-20.2.2-Mar5
---------
On the Hashcat 6.1.1 version, everything works fine
issues 68000-70000 H/S
and hashcat -b - passes successfully
But when switching to the version of new 6.2.x
Already Hashcat -b does not go and freezes with the output of the pop -up window Windows (Crash).
He established that if you set-M22000 or 2500 and some others are possible, then Crash (Hashmode: 22000-WPA-PBKDF2-PMKID+EAPOL (ITERATIONS: 4095)).
But with some others, MD5, Sha1, Sha2-256, Sha2-512, -M16800 Benchmark is successful.
Tell me how to fix this situation so that it can be updated to the version of new 6.1.1
Thank you.
