That's what I had assumed. I was surprised to read that newegg review about the Gigabyte not working - and the author appears competent http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814125439 (search for linux). Can anyone confirm that this card works? The only nice thing about it is the OEM's high clock speed.
