I agree, especially since the first card I had ran for a week flawlessly before the hardware died - even on light duty. I'm tired of all of this - in the old days this would have represented a challenge, now it's just a pain. If I had more knowledge in some of these areas (like rolling a unix box to cross check with) I might be able to at least diagnose the issue - since it might be another piece of software interfering with the load, but it has been too many years. I did development up until I retired 8 years ago, lots of C, Assembly, embedded systems work for 30+ years - with a mash of electronic devices. The problem is of course, each processor has it's own issues, along with many different compilers across the board, and it just doesn't interest me any more. And that Person was a whole lot smarter than I am now - man you lose brain power fast when you get older, even when you are mentally engaged every day.
I will send it back - wait until the end of the year to see if they have come up with anything comparable to it - one that others are already using extensively, and then build my dedicated machine.
