Man, I have no idea what you guys are on about. The entire 5000-series in general is very power efficient and quite easy to cool, and the 5970s draw less watts than a 7970. I run all four of my 5970s at 830 Mhz with a mild overvolt on air with the reference coolers, and my temps usually stay around 65C under load!
