The rig is mostly used to "play around" with, Cracking Rig, Server, Rendering, etc...
My idea was not to make it a cracking rig/miner that goes 24/7 all day long, but more a kind of project that can be changed & upgraded easly.
The 1080ti wold be used on my desktop pc when my rig is out of use for a long time. it wold be such a waste to have a nice GPU and not using it. Another great thing wold be using some older GPU's i have around here, and put them in my rig for a while. My goal is to upgrade the rig to 4 ~ 8 GPU's over time (might take a while to get it fully upgraded).
This makes me wonder, shold i go get a mobo with lots of slots? or just a few slots?
I aint gonna use all those slots yet, so it might be better to buy low budget mobo for now, and buy a better mobo once i get to 4+ GPUs?
