Is 4way handshake the problem?
#1
Hello..

The 4way handshake was captured with SpoonWPA.

# wpaclean <out.cap> <in.cap>
# aircrack-ng <in.cap> -J <out.hccap>

BT5r2:
PivilegeEscalation > PasswordAttack > OfflineAtt > Hascat-gui > hashcat-gui32.bin (enter)

(after pressing enter, it was possible to select between the CPU or the GPU version. I took GPU option)

(the following message was shown in a newly opened shell):
Initializing hc v038 by Atom using 8 threads on 32mb segment size
Note: press enter fro status-screen
Skipping lineESSID (line lenght expected )
No hashes loaded

Question
Am I doing something wrong or is the 4way handshake broken?

Thank you very much for every help!
John

PS1:
Output of he WPA Clean and Convert Script(Script_it.sh):
command not found_it.sh Line12:
root/Desktop/Script_it.sh Line16; syntax error near unexpected tok.. 'do
16: 'do

PS2:
I will soon update to BT5r3 :-)

I don't know about your script problem in PS1 but your general problem seem to be that the GUI is obsolete. You better install freshly donwloaded version of OCLhashcat-plus. In your case it was still the Hashcat and not the OclHashcat-plus that was starting. Hashcat does not support WPA.

Sounds like he did not select the WPA algorihm

Thank's for the help! Yes I selected the tab "hashcat" in hashcat-gui which does not support WPA..
.

Nevertheless I do have still a problem.. probably BT5r3 related...

./cudaHashcat-plus32bin: error while loading shared libraries. libcuda.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file of directory

Thank's a lot for any additional feedback.

John

PS 1:
My GPU: Nvidia GeForce M425 (which is probably not a big help :-(

PS 2:
I am trying as well to find out, if the post "oclHashcat-plus not working in backtrack r2" could have to do something with my problem

What a pity. I hoped that hashcat-plus would work out of the box (if system is booted from BT5r3).

Is this problem solvable on systems booted from a LinuxLive system like BT
without remastering the BT5r3.iso ?

Thank's for any help!
