oh, yes, if you had the SDK installed then that explains your problem perfectly. it is well-documented on these forums that you should not install the SDK unless you absolutely know what you are doing. otherwise you will end up with an old version of libOpenCL on your system.

If hashcat detects driver version it should say so. Something like the glibc error, very clear and you know right away what is wrong.
