ERROR: clGetDeviceIDs() -1 using Windows 7

I'm not even sure HD6350 is supported and even if it is, it will be slower than any decent CPU.

Drop them both and buy some decent hardware otherwise you won't have any fun cracking hashes.

Okay, I got oclHashcat to stop crashing. I now have the HD6350 as my current display and only display device. It seems more evident that there was simply a clash of drivers and that was causing the crashing in oclHashcat. Now there's a new problem. The driver I used, Catalyst 14.9, is not liked by oclHashcat:

ATTENTION! The installed GPU driver in your system is known to be broken!

It will pass over cracked hashes and does not report them as cracked

You are STRONGLY encouraged not to use it

You can use --force to override this but do not post error reports if you do so

I'm guessing a reinstall of 14.9 or trying 14.12 will fix this issue?

Okay, not tested this, but I believe I have it worked out:

1. Catalyst 14.12 will show driver version "14.501.1003.0" on the device (http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles...Notes.aspx ).

2. Catalyst 14.9 will show driver version "14.301.1001" (http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles...Notes.aspx ).

So just be sure it says "14.301" i.e. Catalyst 14.9 is installed.
