| Thank you atom. I did manage to get it working under a clean install of ubuntu 12.04 w/ amd app sdk 2.7 and catalyst 12.8. |

| I didn't pray but I did yell really loudly. I got the cuda version working on the amazon ec2 gpucluster with ubuntu but I don't want to pay for the 5 day run time for it to complete. I'll try a few ... |

| I have removed all AMD software, rebooted, installed 12.8, rebooted again and I still have the same error. Is there a way to see what it's referring to? |

| The many different versions range from 11.11 upwards to 12.11(beta). But I also had the SDK installed as well thinking I needed that for the clbuildprogram. I will clean the machine again, install 1... |
