| Quick update: I've been running 4x 7990s on the ASUS Z97-WS successfully. This board won't boot with 5x 7990. |

| Interesting post confirming the 8 GPU limit is only related to the Windows AMD driver, this poster has 4x Radeon 7990 plus 2x NVIDIA cards = total 10 GPUs under Windows

| Quick update: I opened a support case at Asrock, they supplied a beta BIOS update with 4G Decoding, but the problem remains the same:
- If the onboard graphics is disabled, I can boot with 3 GPUs

I'll double check with Asrock to see if there's any way to enable 64bit addressing because this company was selling mining rigs based on the Asrock H81 Pro with 6 Radeon 7... |

Just to clarify, when you say driver you mean Windows driver right? So the system should at least boot to BIOS right? |

I deleted all opencl*.* from Windows, used Driver Fusion and reinstalled Catalyst.
