Is ati hd 7790 supported by oclhashcat?
I checked this:

It wasn't listed but said newer cards work. They are fairly cheap.

Looks to be a somewhat small card compared to 7970 or even 7950, but if you had a lot of them......

Hi, i have question in terms of performance. Of course, it's low budget card, but how it's comparable to other cards from the same shelf? let's say, 7850 is 100%, how much slower will 7790 be? 60% of 7850 power? how is it for 7770? 40%? How to compare it to 650ti cards? Does anybody ever run "low-budget cards hashcat capability test"?

Thank You Rolf, it seems, that SP's are important, and 7790 have 896 of them, so it's closer to 7850 than 7770... Good to know

Yeah, it's basically multiplying shaders by their clock, but comparison is good between a certain generation only.
