		Hi,
newbie questions:
Is possible to assemble 4 Geforce to this ASUS? Info displays 4 PCI x 16.
Cards have to be same model or I can alternate GTX to GT?
ASUS ebay
Thanks
A.

It's technically possible to run 4 cards but it won't be straightforward. You can run 2 double slot cards and maybe can put a third card at the bottom if it's a single slot card. A double-slot card in the bottom pci-e won't fit in the case so it's not an option. Other than that, you need PCI-e extenders for the third slot that will be covered by a double-slot card in second pci-e slot and for the bottom slot if you want to put a double-slot card. Beside that, you need really good cooling in there and a good PSU (or 2) to provide power to all these cards.

In your opinion 1000W PSU could be suitable?
I read in asus.com 1 GPU must be a Quadro!?
Can I mix ATI and Nvidia?
I don't need to decrypt hashes but
hashcat it's real fun to me, better than bingo! So maybe 2 ATI cards are enough o start.

Alex

You cannot mix ATI with Nvidia. They can be present in the same machine but not used at the same time. You don't need and don't want a Quadro. Start with 2 cards and you can add more later, yes. 1000W should be enough for 2 cards. After that it depends on the card that you put in and the number of PCI-E power connectors.

I think you should take support from the
Asus Tech Support directly. They will help you easily. And you will get exact solution.
