what's a little confusing is the random data at the beginning of the hash/encrypted data. Since the last bytes (probably encrypted or hashed ciphertext) are static this does not seem to be an encryption password/IV/salt.
Also interesting to note is that misha's and hops' static part for a known password are identical. This suggests the software is using a hardcoded encryption key.
