Help with Bitlocked Drive
#4
I have a Microsoft account and I have backed up my new drive.  Before I didn't do this and now I have.   I log in and I can see my current machine but I cant see no others.  That's why I say I never backed it up.  When I installed the drive in the machine again I was able to get the Recovery Key ID.  I'm not sure if that helps.

So that being said he is just trying to scam me!? I now know to back up to my one drive but I didn’t before, so now I’m in this situation.

You need to check the Microsoft prompt where the key is stored first
