If I understand it correctly, you guys want to crack your macOS login ?
You need to obtain this file: /private/var/db/dslocal/nodes/Default/users/[yourusername].plist
Then, extract the hash from that file with for example https://github.com/openwall/john/blob/bl...ac2john.py
Format the hash just like the example-hash, as found here: https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=example_hashes
Run hashcat with -m 7100.
