How can I remotely know about the progress of OCLHashCat?
#1
I would like to order hash cracking on my desktop computer running Windows 7 SP1 with a SSH Server and remotely access using my laptop to see the progress.
I can, of course, acces to my desktop via some remote control GUI tool like VNC or TeamViewer. But there could be several reasons for prioritize console access instead of graphics access:
- Speed: sending just text is dramatically faster in communications.
- Bandwith: mobile internet lines are expensives.
- Stability: remote connections sometimes drop down.
- Learning some more efficient method ;-) .

So, as long as Windows doesn't (or so I think) have a practical tool like screen or tmux, I would like to ask: isn't there any way to know at least the progress of some OCLHashCat running process?
Maybe by analyzing the corresponding logfile? Or the restore file?

Thanks you.
