And here are some performance benchmarks for descrypt (but they are useful for judging relative speed). Prices have come down a bit, so adjust your numbers accordingly.

GTX 970s are the best for performance/watt/$. 980Ti is better if you have the budget and power. Get the single-fan reference versions if you can.
