Or read this (I wrote it myself!):

Make yourself a mask file. So if you start at 8, and want to go up to 10, try

?u?l?l?l?l?l?l?l
?u?l?l?l?l?l?l?l?l
?u?l?l?l?l?l?l?l?l?l

(for example)
Put that in a file, and use the path to it instead of sepcifying your mask in the command.
