Well, let's see. You started by pressing 'r' when it was already running. So that of course does nothing. Then you pressed 's' and saw that it was in fact running, so you pressed 'r' again to attempt to resume the already-running program. Then you pressed 'p' to pause it, and it did indeed pause when you told it to. Then you pressed 'r' to resume it, which it did. And then you pressed 'r' to resume it again, even though it was already running, and you pressed 's' to verify it was running, and it was. Then you pressed 'b' to bypass the current dictionary and go to the next one, but you only specified one dictionary, so the program exited.

I don't see where the problem is here.
