My problem is simply not understanding the printout.
The screen was scrolling along, then suddenly quit, so I thought the process quit.
I restarted the process and the scrolling data was not present, just a summary block of info. If I pressed [s]tatus, it updated to a new summary block. At least I could tell the process was running. Eventually, the hash was cracked.
