Hello
I am trying to run hashcat benchmark on CPUs and for some reason it gets stuck in Hash-Mode 3000 (LM) and won't progress. I have tried the GPU version and it runs well. What could be the reasons? Is this a well known issue?
I am using version 6.2.6 compiled with gcc 12.1.0 and I run it as follow:
source /opt/intel/oneapi/setvars.sh # loads OpenCL runtime
./hashcat -b -D1
I had to add -D1 otherwise it won't detect a device to run...
Regards
Chris
