Hello everyone, i'm beginer of Hashcat-plus. Guys please explain me, how to create hash file from cap? For example now i can use hashcatplus or hashcatgui with somefile.hccap, but i can only use wpa/wpa2 hashtype. How to use others? I read a lot of information in wiki and forum, but didn't find answer how to create hash.....

also using aircrack.

aircrack-ng -J file.hccap wifi.cap

There is also a downloadable .exe here. However I have never been able to get it to work myself. Sad

Either Blandy or eljolot's suggestion would be your best bet.

Yeah, the sourceforge one doesn't work on Win, I have told the developer and they did get back to me but not heard anything since.

eljolot the latest version of aircrack-ng v1.1 for Win does not have that option -J. Is that Linux only?

Thank you, for your fast answer but i think this is misunderstand. I know how to convert cap file in hashcat.net site using converter also straight in Backtrack, but that file for me works only with option wpa/wpa2 (brute force and dictionary). But If i try do this with md5 or others, it writes me no hashes found.....
Maybe i don't understand somethink..... but if, then i can use hccap and some file like cap.hash ??

You want to extract hashes from a cap file?
Cain and Abel may do just that.
