best gpu
#1
Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy the best GPU that 600-800 dollars can get me. I've looked at some hardware comparisons but I feel like it's best to consult people who have experience doing this. Please keep in mind I'd like to use this primarily for hash cracking. So far I've looked into

and

If anyone has suggestions I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance

search the forums, this has been covered 284023428034 times before.

if you're looking at nvidia, you're barking up the wrong tree. especially if you're looking at quadro/tesla.

7990 is great, but HOT. I watercool mine, 315kH/sec on WPA2 (overclocked).

best setup would be 4x 7990. because it gives you 8 GPU in a single system without having to go to 4U server chassis
