cudaHashcat-plus keeps stopping asking for me to resume
#1
Hi!

I'm running the following command:

./cudaHashcat-plus64.bin --force -n 30 -a 3 -m 1800 k.hash

I get the normal output saying its starting and I also get the warning:

WARNING! Kernel exec timeout is not disabled, it might cause you errors of code 702

Is it OK to ignore this warning? I believe I have my nvidia driver properly installed (325.15)

My real question is that cudaHashcat keeps stopping and asking me:

[s]tatus [p]ause [r]esume [b]ypass [q]uit => r

When I type 'r', it immediately comes back and keeps asking me the same question. I don't see any error output or anything to indicate why its doing this. I've tried running as root and non-root users and get the same errors.

Thanks,

Bobby

it's not stopping and asking you to resume. it's just printing the prompt. you don't have to type 'r', you could type 's' -- or nothing at all.

You should specify a mask for your attack too.
